Jonathan is a young, enthusiastic web designer from Ballymena in Northern Ireland. Jonathan has a great passion for all things technical, animation, extreme sports, photography and the odd bit of writing.
Currently Jonathan is completing his final year of a BSc Hons Degree in Interactive Multimedia Design. The final semester is nearly over and the work is getting tough with strict deadlines to meet. Although it will all soon be over and then it's off on a nice holiday to relax!
Jonathan has spent most of his life studying; starting in local schools in Ballymena as a young lad of 4, to the University of Ulster at Jordanstown as an equally young lad of 18. Still studying, Jonathan is looking forward to starting the big bad world of work and being able to earn proper money.
Jonathan spent the year previous to final year in Dublin on his industrial placement. The first 11 months were spent with Intel, a large worldwide company employing 6000 in the Ireland site alone. Jonathan enjoyed his time in Dublin so much that he stayed for the remaining months before university started when he worked for Alphyra (now Payzone Plc), a large European consumer payments acceptance network.
Many wild and crazy dreams for the future live in Jonathan's head; including: professional skier, skydive instructor, rock star, lottery winner, nobel prize winner and motorcycle stunt rider to name but a few. But in the real world Jonathan has set realistic goals, and he's not going to stop until he achieves them all! What the future holds for Jonathan no one can be sure; but one thing is sure, Jonathan has his sights set on making his mark on the multimedia industry.
There is not much that Jonathan doesn't like but a short list of his favourite things includes:
The "not much" previously mentioned turned out to be a little more than expected, see below:
